Rule #1: Each month the club has a new hostess and each of us will take a turn. The location of the meeting is up to the hostess (Melanie does offer up her house if anyone would like to use it). Remember, a quiet place to have discussion should be considered. Was that more than one rule?
Rule #2: The hostess that month chooses the book that everyone will read.
Rule #3: There are no books off limits. The hostess can choose fiction, non-fiction, How-To, you get the idea.
Rule #4: Once the book has been chosen, Melanie will pull a list of questions for the meeting and place them on the blog so everyone can review. At that meeting we can review the questions and get into conversation.
Rule #5: Although not required, it is recommended that some form of alcohol/fluids and snacks be available for your club members when you are hostess. It will make this event a little more fun, and a lot more interesting. This does not have to be expensive.
Rule #6: The meetings will be held on the last Sunday of each month, starting in June 2011. Melanie will be issuing the first book to read one month prior to this meeting. Start time: 5:30 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m. at Melanie's House.
Rule #7: These rules are not set and stone. They will be discussed at the first meeting and anytime an issue does come up. We want to accommodate as many people as we can!
